The kids really like these apples served warm. A scoop of fresh whipped cream on top might be nice!
Apples (I am serving 10 people so I usually use 5 apples)
Peel and dice apples and put them into a small saucepan. Sprinkle on some brown sugar, cornstarch- I probably use a couple of teaspoons- and cinnamon to taste. Stir the apples, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon and then add enough water to just cover the bottom of the pot. Drop in a little butter and put a lid on the saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender, about 15 minutes.
